The 2004 champions struggled to qualify out of their group last time around, winning just one of their three group matches before losing out to Cameroon in the quarter finals. While Faouzi Benzarti’s side does have a chance to gain revenge on that defeat, the Tunisia coach will be hopeful that his side would have wrapped up their qualification to the next round with Tunisia playing Cameroon in their final group match.
Zambia on the other hand narrowly missed out on a quarter final spot in 2008, managing only a draw against Egypt in their final group match when they needed to collect all three points from the game.
While the Copper Bullets are once again pitted in a strong group, coach Herve Renard will be optimistic that his side can cause an upset and qualify out of the group starting with a victory on Wednesday.
