Bologna take on Inter Milan in their next Serie A game hoping to avoid defeat and slipping further down the league table.
Bologna registered their third win in 12 games just before the international break when they beat Palermo by a 3-1 margin. A brace from Marcelo Zalayeta and another goal from Marco Di Vaio gave Bologna a fine win although Simon Kjaer pulled one back for the visitors.
Manager Franco Colomba will hope his side manage to stay up in what is expected to be a tough season for the Rossoblu.
Meanwhile Inter boss Jose Mourinho could very well rest some key players ahead of this game as his side prepares to take on Barcelona in a crucial champions league encounter next week.
The Nerazzurri were held to a 1-1 draw by Roma prior to the break. Mirko Vucinic had put Roma ahead, but Samuel Eto'o pulled it back for the defending champions.
Inter already have a five point advantage over Juventus with the Serie A season barely into November. However Mourinho may just shift his focus onto the Champions League as fans have been deprived of European glory for too long. Inter are in danger of missing out in Europe having made an indifferent start to their campaign there.
