Bayern Munich will be looking to further close down the four point gap at the top of the table with a third successive victory over a struggling Bochum side in their next Bundesliga clash on Saturday.
The German giants have hit a green patch of form and have won their last three games including a vital 4-1 win over Juventus in the Champions League that sees them qualify for the knockout round.
Bayern’s winning run in the domestic league has helped them climb up the table to fourth, just one point behind second placed Werder Bremen and four behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen.
They take on a Bochum team that is clearly struggling for form. Just one win in last eight games has seen the club slip down to 15th in the league table, just one point above the relegation zone.
Bochum were lucky to come away with a point against Stuttgart last weekend with Christian Fuchs scoring the equalizer just a minute before the final whistle after his side was completely dominated by their opponents.
