Celtic v Hapoel Tel Aviv Live |
|
Celtic will be praying for a mini miracle on Wednesday when they welcome Hapoel Tel-Aviv in their next Europa League match at Celtic Park.
The Scottish giants need to beat Tel-Aviv and hope that Rapid Wien pull off an upset by beating Hamburg on Wednesday. Celtic have had a disappointing European campaign so far, managing to collect just two points from their first four matches in the group stage.
Celtic only managed a disappointing stalemate in a must win clash against Hamburg in their match and will have to be at their best against a side that has scored eight goals in their last two matches.
Tel-Aviv need just one point from their last two matches in order to book their place in the next round. The Israeli side are two points clear at the top of the group table and have already tasted victory against Celtic early this season.
Goals from Nemanja Vucicevic and Maaran Lala late in the second half helped Tel-Aviv overcome a 1-0 deficit to secure a narrow 2-1 win over Celtic in the opening match of the group stage.
