The Toffees have already qualified for the next stage and will finish second in their group table even if they beat BATE and Benfica lose their final game. Manager David Moyes will be looking to give a chance for his younger players and rest a number of his key players as he struggles to get his first team fit in time for the match against Birmingham City this weekend.
BATE on the other hand will be looking to avoid ending their European campaign at the bottom of the group table. The Belarusian club is level on points with AEK Athens and need to match their result if they are to remain third in the group table.
