Juventus made a victorious start to March as they beat Fiorentina 2-1 in Serie A on Saturday. It was the Bianconeri’s thirteenth league win of the season and kept Alberto Zaccheroni’s side within sniffing distance of fourth placed Palermo. Juve defender Giorgio Chiellini suffered an injury to his left leg in Florence and will therefore have to watch the Fulham game from the sidelines.
This is Fulham’s second trip to Italy this season. The Cottagers gave a good account of themselves when they took on Roma earlier in the season. Indeed, an upset was always on the cards at Stadio Olimpico on that occasion until Erik Nevland got sent off for the visitors.
