The Scottish giants have had a disappointing European campaign so far. Celtic got knocked out of the Champions League after a couple of disappointing performances in the qualifying round and followed it up with a string of below par displays which included losses to Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hamburg.
Celtic are currently third in the group table, just one point ahead of Wien and coach Tony Mowbray will be hoping that his side can finally hit form and bow out of the competition with a good display.
Celtic had managed to hold Wien to a 1-1 draw in Scotland early in the campaign with Scott McDonald canceling out Nikica Jelavic’s goal midway through the first half.
