Ronaldo’s partner in crime Gonzalo Higuain restored Real’s lead in the 73rd minute and late goals from Sergio Ramos, Karim Benzema and Marcelo ensured a happy ending to the match for Real. Los Merengues are a point behind Barcelona at this stage and need to win their match in order to have any hopes of wresting the title away from their bitter rivals.
