Tottenham were held to a 2-2 draw by Leeds United in the FA Cup on Saturday. Peter Crouch’s 42nd minute opener was cancelled out by United’s Jermain Beckford but Russian forward Roman Pavlyuchenko restored Spurs’ lead with fifteen minutes left on the clock. However Spurs defender Michael Dawson fouled Beckford in extra time and the striker converted the resultant penalty to force a replay.
Fulham recovered from a nervous start at League Two side Accrington Stanley to post a 3-1 victory in the FA Cup on Saturday. Goals from Erik Nevland, Damien Duff and Zoltan Gera allowed the Cottagers to book their place in the next round of the competition. Clint Dempsey, Paul Konchesky, John Pantsil and Dickson Etuhu are all unavailable for Fulham.
