AC Milan’s game against Cagliari at the San Siro last Sunday was a classic and a game that mocked the Italian stereotype of defensive football. Even with Milan leading 3-2 at half time, both teams gave it their all in the second half for the points and despite the home side going 4-2 up, Cagliari still found the strength to pull another goal back and push Milan all the way. Much to the relief of the home fans though, Milan did hold on to claim all three vital points.
