Both of the Bhoys' two league games in 2010 have ended in 1-1 draws. One was against Old Firm rivals Rangers, while the other was against Falkirk. The Bairns took the lead through Carl Finnigan in the 19th minute, but Celtic equalised five minutes before half time through Greek striker Georgios Samaras. Celtic were however victorious in their midweek Scottish Cup tie against Greenock Morton. Tony Mowbray's men won 1-0 thanks to Niall McGinn's 35th minute effort.
St.Johnstone have claimed victories in their last three games. After losing 3-0 to Rangers, they beat St.Mirren 1-0 at home and followed it up with a shock 3-1 win away at Motherwell. They also scored three times against Forfar Athletic in the Scottish Cup on Monday. Kenny Deuchar sent the Saints on their way with his 23rd minute opener and a brace from Liam Craig sealed a comfortable win.
